Compact, High-Performance RF Front-End Solution for DECT NR+ and Legacy Systems

Johanson Technology introduces a compact and optimized RF front-end solution designed for 1.9 GHz DECT NR+, DECT-2020 NR and DECT legacy wireless systems.

This solution includes two high-performance ceramic surface-mount components:

  • P/N 1905AT45A0050001E – miniature ceramic Chip Antenna
  • P/N 1905BP18A0050001E – high-performance Band Pass Filter

These components are optimized for 1880–1930 MHz operation, delivering consistent system performance with optimized wireless coverage and strong out-of-band rejection. Their compact form factors make them ideal for embedded DECT wireless modules where board space, signal clarity, and power efficiency are critical.

Designed for compact and mechanically constrained devices, the 1905AT45A0050001E chip antenna offers flexible mounting options, 2.5 dBi peak gain, and 78% efficiency to deliver reliable wireless operation.

An ideal companion to the 1.9 GHz chip antenna, band pass filter 1905BP18A0050001E delivers excellent passband transmission and stopband rejection performance making it an ideal component for DECT applications that operate in environments with co-located WiFi, LTE, or Bluetooth signals. This high-performance filter also makes it easier to meet FCC, CE, and ETSI compliance during system certification.

The antenna and filter are suited for a wide range of DECT-based 1.9 GHz applications such as DECT NR+ voice and data modules, DECT-2020 NR IoT gateways and smart sensors and legacy DECT 6.0 wireless phones and base stations
