A chip antenna is a compact surface-mount antenna designed to transmit and receive RF signals in wireless devices. Chip antennas are commonly used in IoT, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, GNSS, Matter, Zigbee®, Thread, and cellular-connected products where PCB space is limited.
How does a chip antenna work?
A chip antenna converts electrical RF energy into electromagnetic waves and vice versa. The antenna works with the surrounding PCB layout, matching network, enclosure, and ground plane to achieve optimal radiation performance and wireless range.

What is antenna matching?

What Happens If an Antenna Is Mismatched?
