Johanson Releases WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 Baluns

Johanson has developed two cost effective differential to single ended baluns (RF transformer) for the 5 Gigahertz and 6 Gigahertz bandwidth spectrums (WiFi 6E and WiFi 7, IEEE 802.11ax, 802.11be). Both have an operational frequency of 4900 to 8500MHz with two impedances, p/n 6750BL14A0050 (1:1 or 50 single ended to 50 ohm differential) and p/n 6750BL14A0100 (1:2 or 50 single ended to 100 ohm differential) to cater to various chipsets’ impedance matching. With the increased need for low-latency, multi-point, and faster speed wireless routers, these filters exhibit a wide passband with a reduced footprint such as EIA 0603 (1.6 x 0.8 millimeter) for small form factor products such as VR headsets and portable HD video streaming.
