1.9GHz DECT NR+ Antenna & Band Pass Filter
Compact 1.9 GHz Chip Antenna and Bandpass Filter for DECT NR+ and DECT Legacy Wireless Voice Applications
Johanson Technology, a global leader in high-performance RF ceramic components, has introduced a compact and optimized RF front-end solution designed specifically for 1.9 GHz DECT NR+ and DECT legacy wireless systems. This solution includes two precision surface-mount components:
- P/N 1905AT45A0050001E – a miniature ceramic chip antenna
- P/N 1905BP18A0050001E – a high-performance band pass filter
Both components are engineered using Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) and high-Q ceramic filtering technologies to ensure long-term performance stability, reduced layout complexity, and high reliability in RF-intensive applications. This matched antenna-filter combination is optimized for 1880–1930 MHz operation, a band widely adopted in DECT NR+, DECT-2020 NR, and DECT 6.0 wireless voice systems.
Together, the antenna and filter provide consistent impedance matching, high radiation efficiency, and strong out-of-band rejection in compact form factors, which is ideal for embedded DECT wireless modules where board space, signal clarity, and power efficiency are critical.
Optimized for 1.9 GHz Wireless DECT Product Integration
Wireless systems operating in the 1.9 GHz band require components that deliver high detuning resistance and excellent RF efficiency despite PCB constraints or enclosure proximity. P/N 1905AT45A0050001E, the ceramic chip antenna, provides 2.5 dBi peak gain and 78% typical average efficiency, maintaining performance even in compact or mechanically sensitive devices.
P/N 1905BP18A0050001E, the complementary bandpass filter, ensures clean signal integrity by suppressing out-of-band frequencies and harmonics. With insertion loss of ≤ 1.65 dB, and attenuation of ≥ 30 dB at 2.4 GHz and 5.6 GHz, it’s ideal for environments with co-located WiFi, LTE, or Bluetooth signals. This makes it easier to meet FCC, CE, or ETSI compliance during system certification.
Applications
The antenna and filter are suited for a wide range of DECT-based and 1.9 GHz RF applications where reliable performance and minimal tuning are essential:
