New Product! Johanson Technology Announces Two AEC-Q200 Qualified LTCC Components for Automotive UWB Systems
Sept. 16, 2025
Johanson Technology announces the release of two new AEC-Q200 qualified LTCC passive components optimized for automotive Ultra-Wideband (UWB) systems - part numbers 7200AT14A2000002T and 8000BP14A0500002T.
These compact, high-reliability devices support precise RF performance in space-constrained automotive environments.
7200AT14A2000002T is a miniature chip antenna supporting UWB Channels 5–9, featuring a 3.5 dBi peak gain in an EIA 0603 package, ideal for small form factor designs.
8000BP14A0500002T is a bandpass filter designed to operate within UWB Channel 9, offering a maximum 1.65 dB insertion loss, minimum 12 dB return loss, and 0603 footprint—making it well-suited for WiFi coexistence and dense wireless environments.
These high-performance UWB LTCC components are designed to support robust wireless communication in advanced automotive platforms.
Target Applications Include:
- UWB Ranging & Radar
- Secure keyless vehicle access and start
- Seatbelt alert systems
- Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) / Child Presence Detection (CPD)
- Vulnerable Road User (VRU) detection
- Automated Valet Parking (AVP)
These components are optimized for high-precision UWB RF integration, offering reliable performance and a compact footprint to support next-generation automotive wireless applications.
